I have yet to meet anyone who actually read the old “Iron Man” comic book, so maybe it was as if Mr. Favreau and company were starting with a clean slate. “Iron Man” didn’t have any built-in fans, so there was nobody to offend if they changed anything. The only people who should be offended the brain-dead hoards who thought “Transformers” was state-of-the-art. It’s time for an upgrade.
