Tarsem in San Francisco

So the director of the unique and visually rich adventure The Fall (an easy pick for theTop 10 of 2008) is coming to San Francisco this weekend. Tarsem will be explaining his film; his work is cut out for him, considering some of the critical misinterpretation (though I’m glad to hear The Fall has become a cult film already in Santa Cruz. Eclectic audiences there …). Tarsem will appear at the Kabuki in San Francisco, June 7 at 4:25pm, and later that day at the Embarcadero at 7:25pm; no extra charge, naturally.

I’m still hoping to catch up with The Fall. In the meantime, inquiring minds wan to know: Is The Fall a 21st-century version of that psychedelic cult favorite El Topo?

  • Thanks, I’ve recently been searching for facts about this topic for ages and yours is the best I’ve found so far.

  • Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for newbie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

  • Hello, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!
