On the Move: Rob Blasdell (a.k.a. the Incredible Hulk) stands his ground in goal while Shaydon Santos and Brian Beisel check Langtry of the Mammoth in the Stealth's last game.

Stealth Care

ONLY TWO GAMES into its inaugural season, and the area's newest pro sports franchise--the Stealth--is 1-1, which is a better record than the Warriors'. After splitting games with the Colorado Mammoth, San Jose's lacrosse team returns to town for a clash with the Philadelphia Wings. The helmets aren't for show--the action on the field is fast and stick-heavy. It's no accident that a lot of Canadian ice hockey players also play lacrosse.

The Stealth vs. the Wings, Friday (Jan. 23), 7:30pm, at HP Pavilion, 525 W. Santa Clara St., San Jose. Tickets are $27.75-$37.75. (408.287.7070)
