WITH THEIR sophomore effort Can't Love, Can't Hurt, nontoxic San Diego rockers Augustana show that sincere, mature rock ballads and tunefully emotional piano melodies are the ticket to mainstream success. Augustana's lineup has changed considerably since their piano-led smash hit "Boston" made it onto national popular radio airplay via spots on TV shows Scrubs and One Tree Hill. Currently consisting of frontman Dan Layus, bassist Jared Palomar, lead guitarist/mandolin player Chris Sachtleben, pianist John Vincent Fredericks and drummer Justin South, Augustana tours supported by squeaky-clean Alabama indie-pop act Wild Sweet Orange and singer/songwriter Patrick Park.

Snoop Dogg's West Fest

JOIN Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Western Union, Warzone and Mistah F.A.B. for what is sure to be a very clean-cut, no-drugs-involved (aside from a little gin and juice) event. Snoop Dogg can always be counted on for an entertaining show and the others are all West Coast favorites, and all are converging on the Fillmore to perform for the masses in Snoop Dogg's West Fest. So regulators, mount up!
