Ambience: An unexpected flash of the Old West lights up this three-part experience. There's a German restaurant, a serene, low-lit lounge and a family-friendly sports area. Liquid refreshment leans toward German beers, including a Kostritzer black beer that will please Guinness fans.

The New Riff's 2000 Nightclub

The completely remodeled Riff's adjoins a Sheraton hotel and faces Brandon's. On Friday nights the California Bikini Team contest generates more heat than the Jetson-esque bubble lights.
